In the past, you were required to wax your unfinished cabinets in order to keep them beautiful and protected. In recent times, polyurethane and conversion varnish finishes are used to keep your cabinetry protected and good-looking.

Several steps are taken to give high quality cabinets a finish. Steps may or may not include hand sanding, rubbing with steel wool, and hand buffing, depending on the manufacturer. The objective is to help create a smoother texture and a deeper color.
